I’m sorry but unless an organization specifically states that they cannot respond to all applicants because of the volume of applications then they should notify all applicants.
Yes I chose to apply to this knowing how detailed and excruciating the process was and yeah I knew I had a 50/50 chance of it going either way. But when you follow the rules to the T and send the self addressed envelope like they ask you to so that they can notify you of the status of your application and then don’t, that’s where the problem is.
I have heard from ALL scholarships I applied to that said they would notify applicants other than Hadden and RMHC.
Just as I made the comment about another scholarship organization that took their time and only read the applications once the state head was made aware that they hadn’t done their jobs. That’s a problem.
So when someone states how they feels about not being notified or that students spend a lot of time on these and don’t know where they are in the process, then they have a right to feel that way.
