Being honest, I slacked off Freshman year. It was mostly B's some C's, so my gpa was at about 3 both weighted and unweighted.

Sophomore year, however, I worked harder and got my unweighted to 3 and weighted to 3.4.

Junior year, I'm planning on doing some extra-curricular activities like (Model UN etc...) as well as playing on the tennis team for my 3rd year. Hopefully by the end, 4 (3 on varsity).

I'm projected to get a 30 on my ACT, I plan on taking SAT subject tests, and I've taken 8 Honors classes and 1 AP class, 3 electives, and 1 regular class and plan on taking 3 AP classes, 1 regular class, 1 Honors junior year. (sorry for all this maybe unnecessary information).

I already have 4+ years of French and hope to finish with the maximum, 5.
I'm also really banking on this "improvement" colleges look at. I'm open to volunteering too.

That being said, being an international student (canadian) in an American High School, do you think that I have a chance of making highly selective schools like UNC, or am I just dreaming?
