<p>I was accepted to the UC Davis YSP and a local medical internship. I am trying to decide between the two and would like some of your input.
YSP
-only have to pay 500ish
-Chemistry research</p>
<p>Local internship
-pretty well-known cancer research center
-get paid 4000</p>
<p>My main question is: How prestige is YSP in the eyes of colleges? For me the two are pretty much equal because they are both just research. </p>

<p>4000 dollars? That's insane! Take that times 1 million!!! It's a double + -you make cash and you get a nice little boost to your college apps!!</p>
<p>Oh I picke YSP because my COH wasn't for sure. The guy need to think about it until the end of next week, so I just accepted YSP. </p>
