I was selected as an alternate! Not sure how long the waitlist is, but I mean itās better than being rejected I guess.
In the acceptance emails did they mention how many people applied? In the alternate email, they just said there were a ārecord number of applicants.ā Not important, just curious.

@sputniik It was a waitlist. Sorry if Iām a creeper, but I was looking at your posts and if youāre a sophomore, youāre fine. Just the fact that youāre in a position to apply to a program like this is indication enough. If you donāt get in, apply next year. You have a really impressive resume, donāt get discouraged by a no. I know my opinion probably mean nothing to you, but still.
Seems like in batches. If all accepted had the same earlier time.
