Today in the mail I got an invite from the office of Admissions and Enrollment to attend a two-day field trip to Cornell University. The letter said that if I paid $115 I would be taken by bus (with other ppl) to Cornell to stay for a night and that would include the cost of food and a room and I'd be hosted by the Red Carpet Society. I'm very interested in Cornell so this seems like something I'm interested in. I'm worried about missing a day of school;I know it sounds nerdy, but I wouldn't be interested in Cornell if I didn't worry about missing a day of school :) Has anyone ever done it before? What was it like? Thank you!

do you live in nj?

Yea I do, did you get one?

yah i did. debating whether or not to go cause my friends are having a party/sleepover that weekend =p maybe if i can convince one of my friends to go

do you know when we have to notify them by?

If you are at all interested in applying to Cornell, this sounds like a valuable opportunity to get to know the school -- even if it means missing one day of school or a sleepover.

I'm probably going.

They said as soon as possible Lurker.
