1st semester Senior Grades makeup for not so good soph/junior year?

I'm a rising senior applying to Notre Dame.

Sophomore year I did very average, 4 A's and 6 B's. (weighted GPA 3.57)
Junior year I came in with the mindset to improve but I immediately I contracted ulcers which severely limited my academic performance, even though I didn't have to go to the hospital. I ended junior year with 8 B's...and 4 A's. My total academic GPA weighted is 3.67 and unweighted 3.5

If I get all As on my report card for first semester (ends January 30th), can that compensate at all for my last 2 years? I have a 2290 SAT.

Awesome sat

anyway

I dont know how much it will help... it will show a rising trend but I dont know if thats enough to overcome your soph /junior year

Dont take me wrong, you did well

But in the heat of your hs career you earned more Bs than As.
Of course it will help that you are doing better this year, but just pray that its not too little too late.

That sat will def help you though, congrats on that.

Have your counselor mention your situation during junior year too.
