i think you're suppose to get them the day after u register for classes. i still didn't get mine so donno what's going on. just to to personal menu then "change DAS/email password" or something like that.

have all the U1 science students spoken with their departmental advisors? or is that something we do when we get there? cause i have a faculty advisor but i don't think she can answer a lotta my questions now.

yeah minerva says 24 hours after registering you can get your email...its been that for me but it still wouldnt work. So annoying...cant get facebook yet lol

afterglow, I hear you. That's the only reason I want the friggin email.

And crazychai, I'm not one hundred percent sure if you have to talk to them beforehand, but I do know there are departmental meetings when we get there, and you'll have appointments with your departmental advisor there for sure.

update: got the email, got the facebook. I'm a happy guy.

thanks tmak! i feel so lost :(

So I registered for Physics, and it says its the fall semester, dates are correct, etc. But when I go to look at my schedule, the lecture appears in 2006 and the lab in 2005. W T F??

fredditologistmercurinaie: ur U1 if u need 96 credits or less.

Hpoe u guys get thru this smoothly!!

around 2 weeks to go!!

Not having much luck so far...

I just realized that registration was open tonight and it looks like I'm screwed right now. The math course required for all U0 management students says its full which is an obvious problem. In addition, tons of other classes are already full and I don't see how I can possibly get a full schedule that meets the requirements that I don't absolutely hate.

I'm pretty flexible and I don't have my heart set on any certain classes at the moment, but I'm getting worried here. Any ideas? I've never heard from a counselor or anything and to make matters worse I'm going on vacation for a week so I'll be without internet access.

I know it's partially my fault for not being up at 8:00 AM yesterday or whenever it supposedly opened for high school graduates, but one day really shouldn't kill you, especially since the "deadline" is September 1 I believe...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sports1131: I feel ya !! some of my classes were full too and it sucks! You should immediately CALL your counselor and consult about the courses which are open and you can take. I had to email/call my counselor several times before he replied to me. Ph# for management counselor is (514) 398 4068 and email is bcom.mgmt@staff.mcgill.ca

hope this helped!

same here you guys! I emailed the management offices once ages ago and they didn't reply to me at all, so I'm really turned off from contacting them. I've been emailing this ron critchley dude and usually he replies pretty quickly, but I haven't heard from him in over a week. Anyway, I ended up getting my courses, but I'm not sure those are the ones I'm supposed to take and my schedule absolutely sucks. But I guess there's little I can do. Good luck everyone, two weeks to go!

ron critchley is on a vacation, he'll be back in a week or so!!

i was annoyed too when he stopped replying so i called the advisors office and they told me abt this!

Apparently different faculties allow for different credits, so that webpage with all the advanced standings stuff may not to work, now I understand how I got 14 credits towards Civil Engineering: http://www.mcgill.ca/engineering/newstudents/credit/
