2 Very Important Questions That I Need Answered!

1.) I took the old SAT and old SAT II writing subject test. My composite when you combine the two tests is over 2100. I also have SAT IIs of 760, 750, 750, 720, and 800. Does Michigan take a look at the OLD SAT when I combine these. It's just that I do not wish to take the new sat because I did really well on the old SAT???

2.) Now that the application is out, I guess its still summertime so I cannot really send anything in right now. As an out-of-state applicant, I know its best to send it in early to get the best possible chance. If I send the application in by say October 15th, could I still retain the best chance of applying to UMich?? If I am a well qualified candidate, when should I hear back? My concern is that I may not have everything ready by that time, yet, I do not plan on applying like say in December or January..- way too late.

ideas? please guys

I hear Mich will take the old Sat anyways...or is that wrong?

Oct 15 sounds fine with me...its still early enough...maybe not for scholarships though but for admission you could still be a good competitive candidate

Mine got processed Nov 9 at UM, sent it a wk earlier. Got admitted 2nd wk of Feb.

Ok Ill TRY to send it possibly in by September, would I then qualify for honors program/scholarships or other stuff for an Out-of-state applicant

I don't know if they will take the old SAT. Don't count on it.

Oct 12 is early enough for honors...but once again scholarships is an iffy.
