Question about H/EOP for Cornell?

I have a question about the Non-filer Statement. It states in the Admissions Economic Review Checklist that the Non-filer Statement is required for 3 years (2010, 2011, and 2012) but I've never worked before so I have never filed any tax returns. Also, I already included my parents' filed tax returns for those three years so I was wondering if anyone knows if I still have to send those statements in?

Thanks so much!

I think you still have to send in those non-filer statements along with the IRS 4506T.

In case you need them,

I can’t seem to find the non-filer statement form for 2010 though.

Good luck!

I’m wondering the same thing. I would call them if i were you. But yeah i dont work or anything so… does that mean we still gotta fill it out?

I called the office today and apparently, you do NOT have to send in the non-filer statements if you didn’t or have never worked in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Really? I called today and they said if i never worked before I still gotta fill it out but put 0…

If you put “0” though on the annual amount for the non-filer statement, what would you put for the source(s) of income…?

You either dont write anything or say that you don’t work at all. I wrote I dont work.

They also said for 2010,you dont need it either because they just noticed the site doesnt have it.
