I sent everything in within the last 15 minutes, online. I got my package yesterday. 2 weeks ago I got a midterm request, sent that in and got my acceptance yesterday. I wish you and everyone else here the best of luck!

Hi, I’m waiting for my NYU transfer decision and I was wondering about the NetID situation. If I am able to make a NetID account, get an email address, and log into NYU Home, does that mean that I’m in? However, when I go to Albert, I am not able to view any academic records or files and it says I am not registered for the term or w.e. I don’t know what this means. Does anybody have any idea. Oh yeah I also tried the financial aid login and it told me that “email address is unknown”.

I think financial aid is determined after they admit or deny you. If you can make a NedID and email, I would assume the best. Nothing like finally getting that letter, though!

I asked about the status of my application on the NYU Admission Forum and they told me it was up for review. What does that mean?? If they haven’t made a decision I don’t feel very confident anymore about my application. =/

how long has everybody had to wait after the Net ID worked to get their letter? people have said from a couple days to a week or two, but how far away do you live from NYC? i’m right outside the city and my Net ID has worked since friday (possibly thursday or even wednesday). this wait is driving me nuts. i’m wandering around the house checking every pile of mail for an envelope (big or small) with NYU on it haha

Blue- I see many references to being able to log in. I assume people are using the “N” id number they received when their application was acknowledged. But where are you getting an NYU email?

an email? i think if your net id works you can continue to login and set up an account. you can use both your university ID number (N…) or your social.

@missamericanpie- Why should someone not apply because they are not wealthy? I got accepted and it looks like I will not go because NYU is terrible with Financial Aid, but I don’t think you should encourage people not to apply if money is an issue. It just seems wrong to me and sad that people with money also have an upper-hand in admissions.

The best way to find out about your decision is to try creating a NetID; If successful, you can be very confident that you’re accepted. Otherwise, cross your fingers.
