<p>I applied. I don't know how my letter of support was or how my essays were. </p>

<p>I still need to get my paperwork in.</p>

<p>Who else applied? On the website, it says scholarship announcements would be made in Spring 2011. That sounds really late.</p>

<p>That’s what I thought too… I guess they post it online on the first Tuesday of January for national winners and mail the letters in Spring.</p>

<p>Can anybody verify this?</p>

<p>Or do they post it online Feb?</p>

<p>I called them several times and they said mid-January (winners will be posted online for the national scholarship). No earlier than early January and no later than late January. So hold tight; we’re almost there (2-3 weeks).</p>

<p>I got some letter from some Elkes & Davis (i think) college. I guess they are just some partner with the Horatio Alger Scholarship program so they recommended that i apply there.</p>

<p>Wait, on the application, did we have to put down our monthly income or our annual income? Because I put down the annual income.</p>

<p>They said they would post the national scholars sometime around mid-January (which means in like 1-2 weeks). Last year it was the 15th. I think some years were earlier because some poster said the first Tuesday of January (I doubt they would do it that early this year).</p>

<p>Yeah, if anything it’s going to be later. They extended the deadline for a reason</p>

<p>Just received a letter from Lafayette College… It came with a fee waiver because of the Horatio Alger program.</p>

<p>I was under the impression that winners are all notified personally before January and then a list of all winners will be posted sometime in January ???</p>
