another choice was
“In what had been called a triumph of science over sentimentality, Pluto has been dubbed a dwarf planet.” but that one i think is wrong since it has the tense error

For the supreme court one, did you guys say no error?

Sorry, I don’t remember a supreme court one :(.

Also, for the reality programs essay, I’m afraid I’ll get a low score because I veered a little off topic D:

I wrote about how reality shows negatively affect the people that participate in them, instead of the people that watch them. Will this lower my essay score a lot? I hope not :(

TO ALL WHO HAD THE EXPERIMENTAL:

Was experimental section 3 or section 7?!

I had the experimental about e-books and I’m pretty sure it was section 7.

question number 4 on the writing i struggled with ( i suck at writing). It was something about a mural that kids made that “were displayed” in the main hallway.

I was stuck between was displayed or have been displayed. I switched at the end to have been displayed…

DAMNED, i think the answer is was displayed because have been is the passive voice right?? -_-!!!

Yeah I remember that one and it was the “was displayed”. I’m pretty sure the meat and desserts one was also similar to that one, where you had to distinguish between passive and active voice.

im so ****ed off right now. I hate changing answers, i should of put was displayed and stopped thinking about it -_-.

Don’t worry about it I got plenty of wrong on the math lol, and I changed some answers around on math and reading to wrong ones. In fact, I don’t even know why I change my answers any more, because 99% of the time, they’re wrong if I change them xD.

It’s just that the writing section is my toughest. Right now it looks like im getting a 750 on math, 700 ish on critical reading, and around a 600 on writing. I wanted more than a 2050 -_-…

Thank you very much! Section 7 was insanely hard.

That essay topic really threw me off. I used a personal story about how my mom doesn’t like Jersey Shore and how even her rebellious Vietnam-era generation was disgusted by the vulgar content of contemporary media. Then I was able to sneak in an example of Thoreau’s Walden to say how in the past entertainment also had an educational value, and I finished with an example about how in the 1920’s radio helped provide a popular culture. Do you guys think that this is good enough for a 10 or higher?

the supreme court one was like
the supreme court has the tough task of dealing with issues “never dreamt of” by the framers of the constitution or something. i thought "never dreamt of was correct and nothing else seemed to be wrong so i chose no error

That was definitely experimental because I had a math experimental, and don’t remember that question at all.

i agree with star, i dont remember that question at all

yeah the supreme court was experimental. I remember it was on the experimental writing section.
I left it as no error as well (not that it matters much haha)

thank god haha i thought the first (real) writing section was much easier

experiemental…
e-books-was that section 3 or 7?
also, in section three with #12 everglades…there was a gap with an ___and blank a. was a wrong?

■■ anyone remember the anwer to the transition between paragraph 2 and 3 for cars!!! dam…i put personal experience???or w.e C is?

and what about the meats and desserts one??? i think i put E? or w.e -----the family? anyone rememebr the choices?

AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO GOT THE PHOTOGRAPHY ESSAY PROMPT? now that was a stupid essay topic. and also for the sand one i got ___: sand. so for whoever was asking about that in the thread earlier, i got the same thing. and for Lawrence of Arabia and the organic plant one, i got no error. but im pretty sure i got more than 2 no error, i think i got like 4 so thats not good -- lol
