2011 UC Transfer Admission Decisions

Aw yay congrats @NANIWA :slight_smile: !!!

@lemonpretty you were SO smart to apply to something besides film at UCLA. it was my dream to go there and I threw it away because I applied for the film production program which is impossible to get into. Seems like you wanna study film. Where are you gonna go? (Probably a stupid question since Iā€™m sure youā€™ll be doing womenā€™s studies at UCLA but have to ask).

Any acceptances with a gpa below 3.0?

@lexapower

It was a big decision not to apply to UCLA film but with such a low acceptance rate, I went with Womenā€™s Studies. Both CSUN and UCSB are great choices for film too though so donā€™t feel discouraged. Iā€™m actually leaning towards SB because at UCLA, I would be stuck with a major that wasnā€™t right for my career choice.

Also I want to get my Masters in Fine Arts at UCLA. Thatā€™s also something you can think about.

looks like a big batch of rejections coming from uciā€¦

I applied to UCI with a 2.99 GPA

GPA: 3.5

UCI is Tag, but I still havenā€™t received message online.

Hello friends,
I am waiting for transfer admission from UC Berkeley. They say that they will release it in the evening April 29. Do you guys have any idea what time they mean ā€œeveningā€?
Thank you. Good luck with anyone waiting for any transfer admission from any school!
I wish you guys the best!
