there has only been one claim of wash u, it was removed earlier for a reason

So why is Wash U still on this list? My son is waitlisted there as well. He emailed his admissions counselor, who he’s been keeping in touch with all along, to ask whether they are admitting off their waitlist or not…no reply yet.

“So why is Wash U still on this list?”

It is still on this list because people are copying and pasting the last posted list to add specific schools, and apparently people who dispute Washington U haven’t taken it off the list. If you would like to remove it, why not just repost the new list and take it off? It’s not that hard, I’ll do it for you:

Busdriver: Sorry, I thought there was a single moderator modifying the list. We don’t know if Wash U has admitted off the waitlist, although it appears they have not. No need for such a condescending response.

Nope, not a moderator, everyone just redoing te list. Sorry to sound condescending, just the last two posts mentioned it but didn’t correct it. I’ve had an incredibly frustrating day and have no patience for anything. I know how stressful the waitlist drill is, so I apologize for being cranky.

We all have those days…hang in there, thanks Busdriver. Just wish someone would hear from Wash U so we’d know either way.

Anyone know if Haverford’s going to the waitlist this year?

My daughter just got the call from Villanova! Now we just have to decide by the 16th, Villanova or UMiami.

Rush10, when did you hear from Tufts? My D is waitlisted at Tufts but we heard nothing from her CC yet. Should she call?

FYI I removed wash u from the list days ago. People just didn’t copy the latest list when it was updated.

What I will say is engineering had 320+ matriculate when the target is 270. Assuming the other wash u schools are even a little like engineering, then there will be over enrollment like 2 years ago and the list won’t be used.
