Hmm, I just listed hours completed up to Fall 2012. I thought that made more sense since we then fill out our Spring 2013 classes. Should I contact them about it?

@mnaacd you think CS is a easier major to get into then bio at CNS? if i did swithc my major to CS you think i could change it to bio before orientation back to bio?

Does anyone know the GPA average the School of Nursing usually accepts?

And @izzie I’m also waiting til May/June, the long wait makes me incredibly nervous.

Does anyone know how long it takes UT to process your college transcript if you send it to one of their other offices? In my case, I mailed my college transcript on Tuesday via expedited shipping and I confirmed it arrived on Wed afternoon in the Dallas office using USPS tracking; however, it has yet to be confirmed on my mystatus page and of course the deadline has just recently passed.

took about 3-4 days not counting weekends for my transcript to post to my status

Did you send it to the main admissions office or to a local representative office?

I sent my foreign transcript 2 weeks ago and it isn’t in mystatus yet. i guess that foreign transcripts take longer.

i sent it to the main admissions office @lelouchFTW

What are my chances?

Texas CC

GPA: 4.0 right now. Hopefully it will stay a 4.0 but the lowest it will get is 3.87

Will have 30 transferable credits by end of Spring semester (I made sure they transfered using the ATE system)

Two letters of recommendation (One from a high school teacher and one from my English Professor at my college)

Majors: 1st choice is RTF and second is UGS

My essays and resume are above average in my opinion.

Does it look good for me? I am really worried, mainly because I have to wait so long to find out if I made it or not. Also, I know that the letter of rec from a high school teacher does not seem amazing, but she was my TV broadcast/Video technology teacher so it seemed relevant.

@Lavinboy:

No. Don’t do that. CS isn’t anywhere near as non-selective as it was even a year ago - especially at UT.

The reason it worked for me was because I didn’t have to worry about the calculus requirement anymore - not necessarily because the admissions standards were lowered.

@Jebspring Hahahaa, I almost mad you bothered asking. My bet is that your good. GPA is a major factor on admissions when coming in as a transfer and…your fine. If your worried you wont get in because you wont receive a decision until may/june, its not a factor at all, I checked.

May/June? that is a lot of time. May i ask where you got that information from?

@Idson123 If you still need to send in transcripts for the Spring semester (since you need to have to least 30 credits to transfer), then you’ll have to send in transcripts in May-ish, or whenever your Spring grades are finalized. They won’t look at your application until then so it’s pretty safe to say decisions would be made for those applications in May/June. :)

I was expecting to know a decision before they get my updated transcript. Thanks =)

So anxious waiting on a decision. I am on the edge so I have no idea if I will be in or out.

1) Current College: Austin Community College

3) First Choice: McCombs

4) Transferable Credit: 63
5) Extracurricular:

Also Please post if you get admitted, I am curious about the statistics!!!

Thank you. And didn’t mean to come off as a ******, I am just legitimately nervous about it. I feel as if I did something wrong in the back of my mind but thats probably just me being worrisome. Thank you for the input though.

If anyone who got accepted with accepted with the update of their final transcript showing they did 30 hours, please post your statistics. That would be nice.

No not at all! But I am pretty confident that you will get in and be fine. Don’t stress!

Is anyone applying to the college of education?

I’m planning on transfering spring of 2014. Can any1 give me some advice?
