Only online, yes, though they also send out TUUUUBES!

If I get in, I will keep that tube for the rest of my life.

If I get the tube, I will give the tube Hindu praying sessions complete with turmeric, vermilion and incense sticks

AMEN TO THAT!!! !Lolllll

anyone have an idea on the lowest Biology score they may accept for SATII?

@collegesgirl: There is no minimum. Applications are evaluated holistically.

If I get a tube, I will take a million pictures of it and encase it in resin to keep forever.

haha, i was a QB finalist, but wasn’t matched to MIT

crossin the fingers for EA!

It’s fun that we now move to the MIT countdown thread together, gregb. :)

need.admissions.decision.now.

the 15th is coming too slowly lol

I don’t understand the Questbridge system…are those applicants given an advantage in admissions? And why have the admissions come out already?
I thought everyone was evaluated at once…

Anyways, congratulations!! Even though I am confused as to how the system works.

Has anyone heard of any updates since Matt’s last application-related blog post (November 18), or is that where we’re stuck?

Nopee. That’s it. I check the MIT website like once every day or two…and it’s driving me crazyy! Seriously dude, the 15th can’t come soon enough. :P

@neogreen:
the chance for a QB finalist to get into MIT early like that is only 0.28%
And yes, they have an advantage in admission( saying advantage, I mean an special application giving them enough space to describe their situations.) because they’ve faced many difficulties in life already.

No, Questbridge applicants aren’t given an advantage in admissions.

There was an article in the Tech last fall about Questbridge and MIT admissions ([here](http://tech.mit.edu/V128/N56/admissions.html)):
Questbridge’s decisions have come out because the date for Questbridge’s College Match program is December 1 every year.

The somber countdown page is my homepage. :3

I just added a huge (10 hours per week) activity to my life, and I wonder if I can update MIT on it…?

I’m directing a one act play- one of six students directing. It’s a big leadership thing.

UChicago let me update my application… I wonder if MIT would let me.

What do you guys think?

@kitkat - I believe mollie said at some point that at this point, they will be in Selection already and updates won’t be considered for EA, although you could update if you’re deferred for RD.

I just found out that I have 2 big tests on December 15th. So I’m kind of hoping that decisions will be released that day so I’ll be able to distract myself the day before by studying.

^sounds like an excellent plan
here’s to hoping they come out on the 15th

Didn’t someone say that they always come out around the weekend–Friday, Saturday or Monday?

I would really love to wait for the tube, but there is just no way I could resist checking online.
I think I’m going to publicly embarrass myself if I have to pick it up at the post office.
