2014 MIT Early Action Countdown Thread

Through questbridge they do

Eek that was a lot sooner than I expected. Congratulations to the girl that got in, I am very jealous and happy for her.
I wonder when they’re planning to release decisions for the non-Questbridge applicants. O_O

out of curiosity, has anyone else who’s waiting received a decision from other schools yet? And anyone waiting on other EA decisions as well?

I’m waiting on CalTech too, and I’ve already gotten into Michigan rolling :)

^ same situation as u t-bird

Waiting on UChicago and NC State, both around the 15th

I’m waiting for UChicago and Rutgers, also around the same time. =]

Denied at MIT through Questbridge. Guess I’m with you guys now! I’ll probably be in that small percentage of students who gets rejected EA since I don’t know anything about technology…

How many Asians are here by the way? XD

@ExcitedG
What do you mean by denied? Deferred or Rejected? Also, a huge number of kids get deferred in EA, probably around the same percentage of kids that get rejected during RD.

Congrats to the girl who got accepted through Questbridge. I was lucky enough to be accepted too! It’d be great if we were all able to talk with each other (:

Good luck to those who are applying through EA. Its very nerve racking  try not to count down the days and it’ll fly by~

Lucky Questbridgers! Grr…

But maybe the fact that MIT already has decisions for them will mean that the other EA ones come out before Dec 15? I’m crossing my fingers.

Anywho, I’m waiting on UChicago, like a lot of you guys, and Georgetown at the same time. Along with SOAS and Cambridge too, I guess, if you consider UK schools. If I had been a good girl and submitted my UMich app, I would be waiting on that too, but I keep delaying that. I promised my friend I’d have it in my Dec 1 so we’d have a greater chance of getting our decisions at the same time, but it so hasn’t happened.

Technically deferred but denied from the scholarship that comes along with it. That makes me feel better. But then again, five months of futile waiting would be hell.

Don’t count on it Millancad. ;)

Decisions for QBers have been coming out on Dec 1st for a long time.

Got this idea from last year: Here’s the countdown assuming it’s Dec 15 at 9pm again. If not, we’ll alter it.

[MakeCountdowns.com - MIT EARLY ACTION DECISION](http://www.bored.com/makecountdowns/show.php?id=188989)

that is a most depressing color theme for counting down til decisions. it looks like “deferred” if it were a color lmao
good idea though, thanks for the link

I’m waiting on Caltech as well as MIT. :)

Questbridge… god if I only were a low income, then I would have done it :(

Congratulations to everyone who got in through Questbridge!

I’m only waiting on MIT. I figured I would wait to apply anywhere else, considering I won’t apply anywhere else if I get in.

fufufishie congrats! that’s so awesome (i’m jealous :P)

I’m waiting on CalTech EA too

I’m waiting on MIT and UMich, and I was accepted to Michigan Tech (super-duper safety). I am working on my RPI and Carnegie Mellon Apps also (for RA).

Waiting on Caltech, UChicago, and Case Western.

Woot for QB people :D

MIT just posts decisions online, right? No stalking the mailbox?
