@Doisys sorry i’m still paranoid over the income. Can I ask you if you claim yourself as independent on tax return? or your mom provides less than half of your total support for the year?

Wait do you have to write your income? I thought you could just skip it?

Also another question, sorry but what are you supposed to write for degree? Like it gives you the option for associates or bachelor’s but I’m not planning to get a degree at my community college?

You do not have to provide income information. They use it only for the fee waiver and context, it will not be a deciding factor.

I’m not really sure about the degree question, since I’m graduating with one so I marked AA

@bizmlover I’m unemployed.

Guys, is the application due tonight? Or tomorrow by 11:59pm?

Tomorrow by 11:59

Hi for the UC transferable course requirement section, I’m using my English AP credits to satisfy the english portion of the requirements but I was wondering which option I should select? Completed, in progress, planned, or not completed/not planned?

Good luck everyone. Before you know it, you’re going to be receiving those acceptance packages. It’s crucial that you continue to do well in your JC classes so don’t let up!

Another thing, enjoy the remainder of your time at JC. It may not seem like it but a lot of you are going to miss aspects of your JC once you’re gone!

Sorry guys another question. I realized I can’t edit my application right now? Is this correct? Does that mean I have to wait the 5 weeks for that update period before I can add my classes?
Another thing, one of my essays have weird question marks in them. I have absolutely no idea why because I did not use any foreign signs or anything. Is this normal? Should I be worried about this??

Add the class during the update. Little formatting issues won’t be a big deal. The app uses plain text, so " and % come out funky. Don’t worry about it

Finally sent, now the waiting begins. Good luck everyone! I need some tylenol lol

Curious, what schools did you guys all apply to?

Target:
UCLA

Safety:
UCI
CSULB
CSUF
CSUN

English and literature major
3.8 gpa UC
3.4 gpa CSU

14 W’s, from the 90’s!!!

Just got an email from UCI telling me don’t forget to apply by November 30, even tho now it’s dec 1. I applied to uci and my confirmation said I did. Anyone else get this email who applied to uci? Is it just lagged?

So I feel like this is a dumb question… But it’s 12:35 soooo… What now? Do we just update in the winter and then wait until April to get our results? And by check our email often does it mean our regular email or a special UC email? I only ask because I remember having to make a special email back in high school that had something to do with applying.

@MolecBio43

Yes, for the most part. Some applicants will be asked in January or February to verify or explain certain parts of their applications.

All applicants will have a portal on the websites of the respective UCs to which they applied. Admissions decisions will be released there. You should be notified of the release of those decisions by email. If not, it’s recommended to periodically check the portal around March-April.

Until then, you’ll just have to play the waiting game. Have fun being anxious over admissions decisions for the next 5-6 months, lol. I sure did last year. :P

Shuttlepilot, yeah, I got the same email. I also applied to UCI. Just check your confirmed submissions at the MY UC Applications link.

The fact Cayton is still hanging out in here helping 2015 applicants is amazing. I just thought I’d point that out, considering he’s already in at UCLA and spent his time last year answering all the same questions as he applied himself. That’s some serious character my friend.
