Oh wait. Just found this as well. “Typically, the deadline for receipt of supporting credentials (such as essays and transcripts) is extended a few days beyond the application deadline in order to allow those who complete last-minute applications time to upload items after they receive a UT EID.”
Yet, that is very unspecific, and I would not push it much. Really, get everything in as soon as possible. The deadline is approaching, 3 days.
Does anyone else go to ACC? I sent my transcript (mail, not online) from online services website Wednesday and it’s still not on mystatus. I’m just curious if I should go to ACC office in person, get my transcript, and bring it to UT admissions office because I’m getting anxious.
@foreverago Yeah, I’m wondering about the resume as well. I don’t have much, and I’ll be giving the admissions office a call on monday to see exactly how necessary the resume is to the application.
I am really trying to tell y’all. The resume is mandatory. Even if it was only recommended, you should still do all the recommended items, because of how competitive UT admittance is. But, the resume is required, so you must. Scroll to transfer application procedures.
If anyone wants to chance me, I’d be happy to chance you all as well, just private message me so I don’t miss it on here.

Have done 4 different internships at various hospitals and am going abroad this summer to participate in a “Doctors Without Borders” internship as well.
I am involved both in school and in the community. I have some volunteering that I mentioned in my resume and my essays are pretty good.
I have three well written LORs from doctors that I have worked with in the past so the UT admissions representatives know I’m not making it up that I actually have participated in many various internships.
Anyone need me to chance them sincerely? I’d be happy to, just let me know.
The deadline for official documents is March 8, according to a woman at UT admissions with whom I spoke over the phone, and you can upload transcripts yourself. I’ve had to call admissions several times (twice Friday and twice today) and each told me to scan and upload documents through the Document Upload System because it’s the fastest method.
^ Yep, called today as well since I posted my transcript via mail last week and it was still in my to-do list in Mystatus. As long as you scan the official copy and it’s clear, it should be good to go.
@nerdygirl2100 actually you CAN upload Transcripts, that’s why it’s one of the categories in the Document Upload portal. They state that it is okay to open official transcripts and scan them to UT, both front and back. UT considers it is a valid transcript and remember to mark out your SSN. UT prefers you to upload them online because your school might take a few days to send it to UT and if you’re running late with the deadline, you might not have time.
Hi everyone! My name is Adrian and last year I transferred from UT Dallas as a freshman into UT Austin for my sophomore year. I’m studying Finance at McCombs and really enjoying it here. I was on the forums just like you all last year asking all these questions and remember how stressful the process can be. With that being said, feel free to ask me any questions! I’ll be checking this every couple days and try to respond to everyone as best I can! Good luck
Someone messaged me about my thoughts on McCombs, and I thought I’d post it here so everyone could see it…
GPA is a major part of the decision process, but it definitely doesn’t guarantee you. I knew multiple people with 4.0s who got rejected, usually because they had not completed the correct classes to be considered. Your essay and LOR are also big influencers. The rigor here isn’t significantly higher, but there is a difference. If you have a 4.0 at UTD you will be able to handle it here, but just know that keeping that GPA is not very likely. At McCombs a 3.8 is considered a standout GPA, for context. The professors here are much better for the most part. Lots of industry experience and knowledge to put the classroom information in context.
I know that your a McCombs admit, but thoughts on what you know/have heard about COLA?

Hi Adrian! I am currently a Freshman at UTD and I am studying finance. I have a 3.874 GPA, and I am wondering if you have any idea of what my chances would be of getting in. @sabassian
