@pomeranian4rich I’m not sure what to think about this because if this is an SGR glitch, you definitely shouldn’t be receiving one again this year

Do SGRs usually come in form of mail or youSC portal update? If its the portal update, what should I be looking for?
Update: I received the mid-year grade notice on my portal as well. Is this a glitch?
@squirtlesquirtle both. last year I received it thru portal first then mail.
@squirtlesquirtle it should come up in your check application status and you should get an email. It’ll explicitly say spring semester grades so if you get one, you’ll know
@penntousc I hope so…ugh
@squirtlesquirtle it’s either a glitch that means nothing or a glitch that means SGR

@pomeranian4rich are you on the semester system? I think being on the semester system adds a fairly large advantage since we’ll have spring grades a little over 2 weeks into May
other people like ttp have received a sgr in the past so this can’t be a sgr glitch.
@penntousc lucky! I’m on the semester system too but my grades dont come out until early June
@penntousc my cc changed up the system. we now have a winter session (6 weeks) in between fall and spring. so my spring now finishes in June. It’s a good thing cause I was able to take more GE classes in winter and submit it with my Fall semester.
@pomeranian4rich @mellyjune Thanks guys. Its crazy how everyone is so in-tuned and active on the forums, haha.
I mean whether or not this is an SGR glitch, I’m expecting a bunch of decisions and SGRs to be released next week because that’s on pace with previous years… if not, idk when the hell to expect a status update
@penntousc i agree, the first actual batch should start any day now
hopefully it will be out in the next two weeks. I received a sgr last year on the first week of may.
@mellyjune yeah but I think there were also a bunch of people who sent spring grades in May last year, and still didn’t hear back until late June-July, but I don’t know for sure… simple logic just has me thinking that the sooner all application materials are received, the sooner that person will receive their decision
@Penntousc well SGRs are a little different since they take time to process but I just meant whether it be SGRs or straight up decisions for some people, a good number should start getting them soon as opposed to the few people here and there that have heard back
Got the mid year thing as well. Would say its a glitch sigh
