@smc2usc Yeah you’d most likely get an SGR
@Vincent1997 at my CC, the pre-reqs for Calc I are College Algebra, then Trig before you can take Calc.
Packages will come from 90089. Not from Texas, they do not use a distribution center even when they send out the 8000 packages for regular admissions. They prepare them all, check out USC admissions instragram for videos and photos. All done in house and USPS sends mail trucks to pick up the bins directly from USC.
Get off of USPS it will make you insane. So you may see the are coming 3 hours before they do, so what? It can consume your whole morning. I know it is so stressful, but keep moving - this can be a very long ride. And for the 8000 regular decision packages, USC did not enable tracking so they didn’t show up in USPS. The sender is able to do this. They may do the same when sending out several transfer acceptances at once.
I do not understand that though, @Kvadhan789. I am thinking the math course I took would fulfill MATH 118 at USC. However, my counselor told me they would not be able to evaluate credits until admission.
That’s why I uploaded an addendum in a letter format to the portal explaining the course I took and how I feel it meets the MATH 118 requirement… I also attached the course syllabus.
@CADREAMIN , my folks sent stuff to 90007 and now 90230 via USPS almost weekly. One thing you can count on, don’t count on USPS for reliability!
When is the earliest that someone would get a decision based on previous cycles?
does having required documents on my financial aid affect when i receive my decision?
In my YouSC portal, it says that a transcript is requested but it doesn’t say from which quarter. Spring quarter is about to start next week so does this mean they want me to send in my spring grades after the quarter is done or are they asking for my winter quarter grades?
@patanon I’d email your counselor
@patanon if you did not send them winter grades, i think you would have to anyways. but yeah double-checking with your counselor can only benefit
thats funny how few weeks there were about 5-6 new messages a day. but since someone released an info about their acceptance - hundreds of messages a day
Yup. It’s not really interesting until something happens :bz
Does anyone know how accurate the net price calculator is?
@giakhanhngo123 Hopefully very accurate, or else I’m screwed lol.
Hi guys! I’ve been stalking this thread forever, and while I know the USPS stuff can be tricky and confusing and stressful, it works!! Signed up for USPS informed delivery a few days ago, and to my surprise woke up this morning and it says there’s a package that was scanned in from USC at the LA Distribution center yesterday, just showed up on my tracking this morning!! Don’t freak yourselves out about it but make sure you check!!! I just got so excited that I had to post here and wanted to inform others to see if anybody’s in the same boat. I’m a rising sophomore under TTP (not a legacy) currently at ASU’s honors college!!
@elleerain congratulations! It must be a relief to get your decision. Did you get your financial aid with your acceptance?
@elleerain where do you see the package? I can only see stuff that has a tracking number.
@AwkwardNewYorker Thank you so much!! Yes, I randomly checked the USPS after staying up all night (still awake and it’s 7:40am almost!) around 5:30 and screamed, called my mom while she was asleep from my dorm. And, I didn’t apply for financial aid by the way.
@csumit It’s under the Packages tab. Mine has a tracking number and says it’s coming from USC under Priority Mail. I can send it to you separately if you’d like (if it’s possible to send messages on here).
@elleerain yes please do! I think you send messages by clicking on my profile
@elleerain Mine shows I have a package coming from USC too! I’m on TTP as well and am a rising sophomore at Chapman University.
