2018 - 2019 USC Transfer

@danceon Oh my gosh that’s awesome!! I have a couple friends at Chapman who are freshman right now who love it. Are you for sure committing to USC?

@elleerain I do love Chapman and all my friends here so makes the decision really tough, but USC has been my dream school so I most likely will. Are you for sure committing?

@danceon Yes!! If you end up at USC you’ll see me there.

@elleerain is it being shipped to your dorm or house?

@csumit My house, but ASU’s only 30 minutes from home. ASU’s in Tempe and I’m in the Scottsdale/PHX area. Message me by the way, I can’t send you messages until I have a certain amount of posts haha

Congratulations guys! It must feel great!

I heard back from Tulane yesterday with satisfying news. I hope for the same from USC!

Nothing yet for me, I’m so anxious.

@giakhanhngo123 The net price calculator was insanely accurate for me. It said all my tuition would be covered and it was. I did have to pay for some other expenses such as the student insurance, but that was because I had been uninsured when I was accepted to USC. If the information you put into the calculator is accurate, I’d trust whatever numbers it gives you.

@danceon did you apply for FinancialAid

Did anyone submit late application?

Has anyone heard back that wasn’t ttp

Checked USPS Informed Delivery and it says I should expect a package from USC by 8 P.M. today (I’m TTP by the way). Good luck to everyone who’s waiting as well, I’m so nervous!!

@lagurl13 I did apply for financial aid, however I do not believe I will qualify

Hey guys Im going to USC this Fall but my cousin (who’s a senior in HS) got the Trojan Transfer Plan this past week. It says that applicants can apply again after 2-3 semesters but on average, how long did it take for you guys to get admitted (being on TTP)?

@Acer0495 I don’t think being on TTP makes a difference it terms of how long it would take for you to transfer.
For me, I started at my CC Fall 2016 and will be graduating this semester (AKA, I was doing applications during my third semester, and my fourth semester is my last.). I’m a full time student and take 15-16 units every semester (as advised by my TTP counselor) and have not had to take any summer/intersession courses thanks to some AP credit. If you have a major that requires a lot more reqs (I’m a communications major), like maybe engineering for example, it could take you longer depending on the amount of courses you have to complete.

Seems like it’s mostly TTP people getting their decisions atm.

@luckybaby I sent in my supplemental essays a couple days late. Apparently people with late applications are required to write an explanation letter, but my portal says they need nothing else from me. If I’d turned it in a week late, I’m sure that would be a different story…

Is there a way where you can CONFIRM that you are under the TTP? My rejection letter did offer me the TTP and I attended their summer counseling session. Does that automatically mean I am already on the TTP?

TTP were offered TTP as freshman applicants denied at the time. It is an invite program. You know if you are on it. Congrats all getting their packages today!

I couldn’t find any forums for 2018-2019 Fall/Spring Transfer Stats, could someone direct me to the link?
