omg really …
Penn and other ivies closed
Harvard, Yale, and UPenn are closed, but other ivies are still open, right? (or at least they haven’t sent out an email saying they are closed yet)
Princeton is closed. Cornell has closed several schools. I think I heard Dartmouth is closed as well.
Does anybody have news?

Difficult
D enrolled at Stanford, happy but still waiting on Columbia (loves core curriculum/NYC), chances not looking good but still hopeful, good luck all!**
Congrats on Stanford! Is there a particular reason she’s unhappy with it? It’s a great school.
She is somewhat obsessed with US news rankings and would prefer #3 over #6, also she loves NYC and isn’t a fan of California
I’m sorry, but the chances at the waitlist at this point aren’t necessarily looking too promising. Fortunately D was admitted off the waitlist in May, incredibly proud of her.
Congrats! I’m sure she will love Columbia. We know the chances are slim but we can still have hope.
My apologies, I didn’t mean to come off as disrespectful! I wish her the best, I’m sure she will do great things wherever she ends up, Columbia or not.
Thank you! Do you happen to know anything about the status of the waitlist right now? It looks like they’re done and about to close it but we have received no communication from them.
I wouldn’t lose all hope but I suggest she makes her peace with her current school regardless of the circumstances with the waitlist.
Wherever she ends up seems like a strange phrase to use when her current choice is Stanford.
meaning, that is incredible school. a lot to be proud of.
Yes, of course, I didn’t mean to sound arrogant. Stanford is an elite institution and offers its students incredible opportunities. I was referring to the difference in location more so than the quality of the college.
Any updates? On any of the ivies?
Quiet. Columbia is the only Ivy open now
