<p>I'm in a weird situation because my gpa is a 3.4 (3.5 overall w/ gym, etc) (6.4/7.0 weighted) but i'm in the top 7% of my class. My UW is low because I took all Honors/AP Classes</p>

<p>Your school has a ridiculous weighting system in which all As in REGULAR CLASSES gives you a 5.0. Quite frankly, colleges are going to ignore what your school reports as your GPA and class rank, and just look at your actual grades. Not that 3.4 is a terrible GPA, but colleges are going to pay attention to that a lot more than your class rank.</p>
