30 Credits=No HS Transcript?

I'm applying for transfer from a NY community college, and I'll have 33 credits and a 3.66 gpa at the end of this semester. On this site people are saying you need 30 or more credits to make you're HS record obsolete, but does that mean before USC transferrable credits or after? Because with my HS record in the mix, I don't think I have that great of a shot...

You still have to send your transcript to prove that you graduated from high school, but their admission decision will be based on your college work.

BUMP please

goldenjet basically answered your question so i'm not sure why you bumped this thread.

I bumped it beacuse Goldenjet did'nt answer whether those 30 credits were determined by whether USC deems them transferable, or 30 before they give an evaluation. I thank Goldenjet for his/her help but that was only half of what I was looking for

Bump once again

You'd be better off waiting on the phone with admissions than waiting for one of us to answer, cuz I don't think anyone on this board knows the answer to your question. Sorry

Well I would think they should be 30 transferrable units. I mean do you really think USC would let you in with 30 units when 20 of those units are remedial courses? They want enough to ELVALUATE your COLLEGE performance, not to evaluate how well you are catching up from high school.

Well none of my classes are remedial...to put it into perspective they would all transfer to Cornell University (got a credit evaluation from their admissions advisor) but I think I catch your drift. Thanks!
