$4200 due on June 17, SJSU Housing? What?

<p>Wait, do I have to pay $4200 by June 17?
There's no way my parents can afford or get that by June 17.
And I have no idea when my FAFSA, Cal Grant, etc. are going to come. The grants said they will come usually by August. </p>

<p>I don't get it... does it mean $4200 is due on June 17 or risk not getting a housing? Or $4200 owned and I get to pay for it monthly or whenever I can?</p>

If you submitted a FAFSA and have received at least the opportunity to apply for a loan, you’ve likely been granted an extension to pay your fees until you are able to apply for the loan, which is sometime around July for the PLUS loan.</p>
