I’m currently a junior and would like to attend Georgetown. I’m going to do good on math 1 and math 2 but I did bad on the Chem (650), should I just send these three or take a fourth and send that as well?
While Georgetown allows any 3 SAT Subject tests, colleges tend to discourage taking both Math 1 and 2. So you should probably take a 4th if time allows.
Take a fourth test not because chemistry is bad (which it is not) but because the math are duplicate information.
Or apply early action (if you don’t have an early decision school) like I did and not worry about subject tests! I had math 1, math 2, and bio M with 700+ scores. They don’t really care about subject tests for early action.
@lmichaels even if I did horrible on Chem (650) do they care about that
Georgetown does not participate in Score Choice and you must submit all SAT and SAT IIs.
@anxiousenior1 I know but will the 3 I take be good enough: Chem (650) math 1 (720) and math 2 (will take in June) or should I take physics or US history to counteract that bad Chem and duplicate math?
I would say no, not really @1zogden1
@lmichaels so should I or should I not take either USH or physics along with math 2
If you’re applying early action, then no. Otherwise, take one of those tests
@lmichaels just to clarify… Is the following subject test plan reasonable for Georgetown?
Chem (650)
Math 1 (720)
Math 2
USH/Physics
Yes
