760/730/...590

2nd time taking SATs in January, I got:
760 CR
590 M
720 W

AHH I could have such a solid score if i could bring my math up!!!! It did go up from the 540 I got last time at least, but still I get so mad having to look at that 5 hahaha.
Here's the thing, I have been studying allottt up until January. I do not want to keep studying so intensely all year so I can focus on grades. Originally I had planned for this Jan SAT to be the end of it but i realllyyy wanna get at least like 630 in math. What I dont get is that I get A's in math at schools but ahhhh i guess i suck at this kind of math :(

Soooo does anyone have any tips or anything? Maybe I will take the June test so APs are over. grr

just study! i did the same thing on the PSAT… got 80m 73cr 56w. I studied and raised my score to a 790W on the SAT while maintaining my other scores. basically the sat is bs

do you think it will look bad if my math score goes up but my CR goes down ? idk if i can keep that 760 haha

Look up which schools superscore. They will keep the highest scores from multiple testing dates.

Just buy a ton of books and study math. I did and i went from a 600 to a 690

Try the ACT instead. The math is much more straightforward than SAT math which includes reasoning.

Or, check out the xiggi method at the top of the SAT sub-thread.
