<p>Hi everyone,
I just received my June SAT scores. I got 1660/2400 without any preparation. Is this good for an 8th/9th grader? Any tips on improving my score? (hoping to get at least 2100/2200 by Junior/Senior year)</p>

<p>I am not 100% sure, but it’s over the national average for a Junior, so it should be fine. Get College Board’s blue book to practice.</p>

<p>Yes, just make sure to keep taking high level english and math classes. (but don’t forget the other ones) Also, get a prep book or two.</p>

<p>If you read that link, I wrote before that I had a 1650 in eighth grade, back when I just found out what the SAT was, and a 2350 by the end of junior year. Several other people posted similar experiences. It’s absolutely possible to get around a 2200 by the time you apply to college. You worry too much :).</p>
