Chance me please

Thanks in advance

And does anyone know if UCLA looks at composite SAT scores or individual scores?

They take u highest composite score and look at individual scores within that one composite. I would say good grades, bad SAT, average/lacking ECs. It’s a reach…

check this out: http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/campuses/files/ucla.pdf

when you compare ur SAT scores especially for the CR section and the composite average. Its quite a be lower.

I seem to find the link you gave me a bit outdated because it would make sense that Berkeley would have a lower admission rate than LA.

Take a look at this [Profile of Admitted Freshmen, Fall 2009 - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Prospect/Adm_fr/Frosh_Prof10.htm)
Fall 2010 Freshmen

When I look at that, I seem to score higher than average for all parts except the CR
After all, percentiles:
95 - maths
90 - writing
42 - reading :(((((((
Can’t be a bad SAT score with 95/90 percentiles, can it?

Plus, I took English as a second language and I’m a green card holder… wouldn’t they consider that English is not my first language so I’m not going to score amazing on CR section? I thought they would take into account the TOEFL score, which is way above what they require

And sorry, I’m not familiar, what are ECs? If you mean extracurricular activities… they only allow to add a maximum of 5 activities so I thought 3 would be enough… isn’t it?

UCLA and UCB have around the same acceptance rate. That file should be up to date. The SAT scores are good score. Just not as good as most of the other people applying for UCLA so that would make ur chances a reach. You certainly have a chance to get in. However, the chance won’t be big enough to make me say you’re probably in. Rather you have a shot but its around 20-30% chance
