So I’m in AB Calc now and our class is going onto volumes of revolutions but I already finished the AB curriculum. I did all the practice problems in my textbook (I REALLY love math lol) and I finished the Princeton Review book in 3 days, and I seem to grasp the material pretty well. Math is very natural to me too. I practiced the multiple choice and got a few wrong because of EXTREMELY stupid mistakes, but I can learn to curb that. Since I have like 4 months till the exam, I was thinking about studying for BC (already did integration with parts and Euler’s method) and taking that exam instead of AB. I know someone already posted about this but I still wanted to make another thread for the sake of more personal responses. Wouldn’t 4 months be too much to review for AB?
If you really nailed the AB material, I would say go for BC. Euler’s method is quite simple; it’s when you get to geometric series and Taylor series where it gets harder. However, I do think that 4 months is definitely enough time to learn the C part of calculus, so I say go for it.
Three to four months should be enough time to prepare for either the AB or BC exam if you are preparing efficiently.
