what do you mean by announced? email? how did some people find out earlier?

i think goodluck1 meant that the 75 nominees (i was one of them) were emailed like 2-3 weeks ago, and after we all submitted an extra survey, today they sent out an email for the finalists who will move onto the interview stage.

serendipityyy was correct. by email.

ohh okay. thanks for clearing that up

I’m sorry, I’m TOTALLY lost.

Did you have to apply for this or is it just for applicants with like boss stats? Anddd for RD and/or ED applicants?

Hahah I sound so clueless.

no there’s no application…the admissions officers/AB Duke selected 75 nominees based on the strength of their applications and how they would potentially benefit from the program. and i’m pretty sure it’s for both RD and ED applicants.

Hi everyone,
I’m applying to Duke this year and have been trying to find out what the qualifications are for the AB Duke scholars program. I was just wondering if people might be able to post stats and such so I could get a general idea?

^ dude, dead thread. Anyway, go to their website <abduke.org> . All the information is there (what they look for, what the scholarship is, etc.). You don’t actually apply, they just pull 75 applications out of the applications to Duke to be “semifinalists”.</abduke.org>

how many ab dukes to you think theyl pick?
what abt internationals?

hellyeah: according to the letter/email they sent, there were 42 finalists this year. I think that’s around the same number of people they usually pick each year…?

So does anyone know if ED people can receive them?

This scholarship seems even more impossible to get than I had thought…
