<p>i got an email today and this is the first paragraph is:</p>
<p>Congratulations! It gives me great pleasure to inform you that, from over 26,000 applicants for admission to Duke University, you have been accepted to join the Class of 2014. Additionally, you are one of twenty-nine students we have selected as finalists for membership in our prestigious University Scholars Program.</p>
<p>i never got any interview or information from duke. its weird cause I never got any indication that I was a semifinalist or anything and it was pretty much out of the blue. The univeristy scholars program is the AB scholar rite?</p>

<p>oh, ok. well, i really have no idea about duke scholarships. so, just ignore me then. lol</p>
<p>has anyone else heard? are the University scholars and the AB scholars informed on the same day? I’m pretty sure they were last year, but I don’t know if that means anything for this year.</p>
<p>i haven’t heard anything about finalist standing/ interview stage for AB Duke… i’m pretty sure it should go out this weekend/monday because the original email said that they wanted the survey in by march the 1st so they would have a week to look over them.</p>
<p>I just heard yesterday that I’m a University Scholar finalist!</p>
<p>AB Duke finalists were announced around 2:00PM today.</p>
