About the interview.

I usually let my answering machine take a message whenever I don't recognize the number on the caller ID. However, since I've been hoping an interviewer would call, I've been answering. Every single time, it's been someone that I really, really didn't want to talk to.

I wish the ASC would at least tell me that they don't have anyone available so I don't have to keep waiting by the phone!

lindseylujh maybe you should put a recording on your phone saying that if the caller is a Yale rep to hang up and call right back and you'll answer!!

Not a bad idea :)

Oh no lindsey, I didn't mean to come off that I think I am entitled to go to Yale!! I definitely don't think that; I think I am in the middle with everyone else.
And I know what you feel about the phone. Everytime it rings I pray that it is my interviewer. No luck yet!! What about you?

No I totally understand! I'm just saying you never know who's reading the boards so just be careful.

No luck whatsoever. I even had two Yale-related dreams last night. This waiting is terrible!

At least they say the interview isn't a crucial part of the application.

Yale seems to be popping up into my daily life. Just the other day I was going to the book store and saw a billboard for Anderson Cooper 360. Even if I try not to think about Yale, it just keeps popping up!

I am so disappointed that I did not get an interview. That would have been my moment to shine and probably draw attention away from my meager test scores. I told everyone at school that I did not get in because its looking bleak right now. the best thing i can hope for is deferrment.
