alright, i know that in the academy your days are pretty much packed, but do any of you guys have girlfriends or atleast get a lil weekend action? the answer isnt going to affect my decision about going to the academy at all, but hey, im still a guy going into my 20’s and want to know what im trying to get myself into. i know this can be kinda a personal one n that there are parents using this site as well, so if you could send me a private message about the topic, or just post material using some decency, it would be appreciated. thanks

A) No gf's here
B) I don't do blue
C) There are colleges nearby.
That is all.

hahahahaha ;)

ooof.. sounds pretty grim.

Not gonna lie, sipes....it is. If your....personal life is that important to you, your'e going to have some adjusting to do.

Cadating is usually not advised. It can lead to bad situations, if you have to work with someone who broke up with you.

Also, there are strict regs on social behavior while in uniform...and you are always in uniform.

He needs to see the Falcon Love video cartoon. Is that still around?

Best loose your virginity then before coming?

Found it

great movie.

haha, well thanks for the heads up. i guess ive got about a year and a half to go on the run of a lifetime, if you know what i mean. ha. not that i would have time to now even if i tried...seems like all i do is study, workout, and work. when people ask me what ive been doing lately and i tell them, and then when they ask me why i want to go to the academy, all i can say is i dont know. because its impossible to understand that feeling unless you've felt it yourself. there are so many things that would sound unappealing to the average person (such as not being able to schedule your own day, or having to follow a strict workout schedule coupled with an even tougher academic load) but it just gets me pumped and makes me work even harder to increases my chances of acceptance. i think im becoming obsessed with this! :) oo another question, i know that tattoos can disqualify your application if they are too over the top or inappropiate, i have a couple but i dont think they will be a problem, but can you get a tattoo while attending? i drew up an air force tattoo the other day that i would like to get someday if i get accepted. told you im becoming obsessed. thanks a lot.

You thinking along the lines of American Pie Z4CHH, lol.

*video was hilarious. sad cuz its probably true, but hilarious.

sad because its very true and even funnier once you've experience and/or heard all the terms.

You need to go read the Navy boards about Spider got a tattoo. lol

I know the female cadet who sang in the falcon love song movie. She's on exchange to USNA and is my fire team leader here...lol, she's a pretty cool person.

that tattoo conversation is ridiculous. man, they take a simple standardized question and make up 8 pages of views and beliefs... wow

as far as tattoos let me say this... the air force's policy is that it cannot cover more than 25% of an exposed body part. I believe at the academy if you are getting one you have to write an essay as to why its important etc.--- but this is hardly enforced. I am one of 3 four degrees who has gotten a tattoo this year-- as long as its covered by uniform your pretty muvh fine. I tried to keep mine a secret from upepr class but everyone knew and loved it thought it was badass etc. This was in Spetember-- no negative feedback. So my technical answer would be "pursue it through the appropriate channel" but if its not exposed...

I meant one of 3 in my SQUADRON.. imagine 40 squadrons...

That song is addicting as hell!
