JSM, I don't know if there is any shuttle service to the Wilson (NC) Amtrak station. It's 33 miles from Greenville. You could call the transportion office and ask. Also, even though there is an airport in Greenville, the one is Kinston has better flight connections.

There are usually quite a few students from NJ at ECU, chances are good your D could find a ride home with another student. They seem to find each other on Facebook. S2 had several calls from kids from our area looking for rides home at Thanksgiving.

josh, Last yr. my S heard in a month but he applied in early Oct. It may take longer the further into the application cycle you are.

Thanks Pacmom. I looked up Kinston and don't see any flights into Philadelphia or Newark. I did find flights, with connections in Raleigh, from Pitt-Greenville. Is it best to then fly out of Pitt-Greenville or are there shuttles to Raleigh during the peak holidays?

D has already been contacted by someone on Facebook that was also accepted to ECU. There isn't a group set up yet for the Class of 2013 so this person must've found her from being a member of the ECU Pirate Football Fan groups.

JSM, I doubt there would be any shuttle going as far as Raleigh. Raleigh is 77 miles from Greenville. So I guess she would do best to fly from Greenville to Raleigh and change planes.
