Accepted from Waitlist!

<p>Even though they said they wouldn't release waitlist offers till may 15 to june 1, I got mine yesterday. Anyone else get theirs?</p>

<p>People have apparently been receiving offers of admissions off the wait list on a rolling basis some time now.</p>

<p>Yea i just got accepted from the waiting list yesterday too. I was just wondering how to pay the fees and all that stuff? I checked on Buzzport but the only thing they changed was my application status ( they changed it to Accepted)</p>

<p>Will some of you coming off the waitlist give your test scores and GPA?</p>

<p>@InPursuit, sorry I thought that it may be helpful to create a new section to update those who got accepted scores, etc.</p>

<p>My SAT: 690 Math, 710 Language, 590 Essay
ACT: 31
GPA (Unweighted): ~3.6
GPA (Weighted): ~3.8
taken/taking 7 AP courses, have taken 5 exams so far (Human Geography - 4, US History - 3, Psychology - 4, Language - 3, Statistics - 4) Currently enrolled in AP Calculus BC and AP Government</p>

<p>I’m rather surprised you got waitlisted with that GPA/ACT. Makes me nervous a little considering GT is my dream school.</p>

SAT 2(even though they dont count it) :Math II: 800 Physics:760 Chem:780
GPA:3.9
Taking 4 Ap classes this year: Physics C, Biology,Calculus AB, and Chemistry</p>

<p>SlightManifesto, there are 1470s and 3.7s (unweighted) who were waitlisted. The average person who has paid their deposit has a 3.89. I don’t know what Tech has to say about AP courses, but the average UGA admit had 5.5 - some school systems don’t even allow kids to take that many APs.</p>

SAT1 510 R 720 M 590 W
SAT2 MATH2C 700
GPA 3.86
taking ap chemistry, physics, statistics, english</p>

<p>You guys think I have any chance (be it waitlist or just flat out acceptance) with a:</p>

<p>SAT1: 800M, 640CR, 760 W, C: 2200?
SAT2: Not sure yet, but I’d predict about 780M2, 680 Chem.
GPA: Tech-calculated will be either 3.43 or 3.50 - depends on my 4th qtr/final spanish grade.
Rank: Top 14%</p>

<p>Do I have a chance? Somewhat tough reputation high school - 2 kids attending GT now.</p>
