lol ***? Accepted into a UC but denied from a state college.

lol

gpa?

same here. accepted to ucsb, denied from sdsu :/

same here denied from SDSU but accepted at UCI.

SDSU only likes locals

how in the world... What are your gpa's?

lol sdsu is a joke

I was accepted to both, and thank Krishna I don't have to go to SDSU.

i'm kind of suprised. my transfer is anywhere from 3.3-3.6. (i'm not sure of the exact number; one of the courses that I got a C in does not transfer so that bumps my transfer GPA up)
UCSB is my 1st choice...but the decision is still pending!

i heard that sdsu siginificantly raised the bar this year as they are wayyy too full; much fuller than they have been already ;o

I heard it was bc of state budgets n some state schools just straight rejected without even looking @ apps.

i lol'd.

....

samesies...in at UCSB and UCSC so far. rejected from sdsu.

ricockulous.

I got rejected from SDSU but into UCSD, seems a little backwards. The state budget is just really messing with the state schools.

Doesn't it also depend on your major? I heard SDSU has a really good business program.

It can happen, you are not the only one.

In 2008, I was accepted to GRADUATE engineering programs at UCLA, and USC and CSUN (CA state school) but denied by Cal Poly Pomona.

Did you guys that got rejected from SDSU have the speech requirement fulfilled?

I don't know if this has already been mentioned before, but I guess there was some kind of computer glitch that rejected about 110 qualified SDSU applicants.

SDSU rejections due to computer glitch?

Don't know if this applies to you guys or not, but it might be worth it to check it out.

also, a member of this forum just PM'd me saying she was denied as well, was not part of that computer glitch, and sent in her appeal although they said they weren't accepting appeals and now they will review her app again and get back with her may 5th.

i'm planning to do the same now

the hilarious thing is, every kid who goes to highschool in SD, can simply walk into sdsu after graduation no matter how stupid they are. Atleast thats how it used to be when i graduated in 07.

^
ROFLMAO. I remember that! double-OH!-seven year too. [:

What if they do that with Cal?! :/// Just kidding. [:
