Can those of you who have been accepted please help me? I’m debating whether to use the common application or the Princeton one. The common one seems easier since I only have to write two more essays from the Pton options but then using the Pton app offers more space for listing/describing EC activities and awards. I’m leaning toward using the Pton one so can any of you PM me if you’re willing to read my long essay and tell me if it works for either of these two prompts:

Tell us about a person who has influenced you in a significant way.

What is your favorite quotation, and why?

...and adding to that question, does Princeton like it when people use THEIR application instead of the common app, in an egotistical sorta way? like you're giving them more individual attention?

I doubt using the pton app instead of the common app would be the defing factor in an admission decision. However, using the pton app does show perhaps more "dedication" to the school.

It. makes. no. difference.
Anyone who thinks an application will make or break their acceptance should reconsider applying to Princeton at all.
JK ;)
But seriously, it obviously won't make the difference. Use whichever one you think you can express yourself best with.

I got in with the Common App as well. However, according to the statistics just released, the Common App is in the minority. But I doubt it would affect your chances.
