I actually haven’t been able to get a complete package yet because of a technical issue with my documents but so far I got the Presidents scholarship worth $15,000 per year. When my full package comes, I will update!

Admissions is really irritating. “Priority Deadline” means nothing. They should just state Rolling Admissions, because that’s what it is. I had called in the past, and someone said that as long as it’s in by the Priority Deadline of April 1, it’s fine. That they don’t look at applications until after April 1. Come to find out that it’s Rolling Admissions. They said 4-6 weeks for a decision. He applied just prior to the Priority Deadline. And yet, there are people here who applied longer than 6 weeks ago and have not heard. They need to have some meeting there so everyone is on the same page instead of giving out random, misinformation. Each time I’ve called, it’s a student who answers.
I wonder if the whole administration is a mess and getting classes with be a clusterfuck. A school with bad admin can be a real pain.

I have checked this thread almost daily for the last month. A little worried considering I am not by any means a conventional transfer and seeing as there are people who have been accepted (congratulations to you) that applied later than me, here are my stats and a little background.
Applying to Sports Adminitration program
48 credits complete at a Buffalo, NY CC
4.0 gpa
Didn’t send anything from high school since it wasn’t required which is fortunate for me
Letter from a Prof that is known Nationally
Have worked as an editor and contributed for two online sporting websites dealing with daily fantasy sports
5 year hiatus between high school and college; I am a recovering alcoholic and addict, sober almost 3 years. Because of my prolonged battle with substance abuse which stretched about six years, I have a criminal record. No felonies, but a dwi and some disorderly conducts which were later dismissed. I will also be 24 by the beginning of the fall semester.
I thought providing such an honest, detailed account of my history would work in my favor but I am now starting to wonder

This may be a dumb question, but can I make my schedule for my current university for next fall while I’m waiting to hear back from UM, or does that bound me to stay at my current university?
@transerrrrrrrrrr make your schedule but do not pay the tuition for the next semester unless you are certain you are staying there.
Anyone get a full financial aid package yet? My counselor is taking forever to review my noncustodial parent waiver!
