Let me know what you guys think!!

^ Hey what is Pratt MWP? I see it mentioned a lot. Is it part of Pratt Institute?

I like your work, I think its creative and I especially love the dark forest piece.

Thanks man.
Pratt at Munson-Williams Proctor is a two-year school associated with Pratt. Basically, if you go there for two years, you get into Pratt without a problem and can transfer there for your last two years.

I'm bumping this thread because it seems really helpful and I'd love to see results from this year. I will post once I hear from schools!

This year was the BEST..
1. Pratt Institute, Rutgers University, MICA, College for Creative Studies, School of Museum of Fine Arts, RISD, Art Academy of Cincinnati.
2. B.F.A. degree in Painting
3. Pratt Institute, Rutgers University (even in their Pre-Med course), MICA, College for Creative Studies, School of Museum of Fine Arts..
4. <a href="http://chibiklaire.deviantart.com/gallery/#Senior-Portfolio%5B/url%5D">http://chibiklaire.deviantart.com/gallery/#Senior-Portfolio</a></p>

waiting for RISD since I applied as a regular one. Art Academy of Cincinnati was an accident...

As far as I know Pratt MWP does the same foundation courses that the main Pratt campus in Brooklyn teach. I like that everyone, painters and photographers, art historians and architects are expected to take the same foundation courses.

Pratt MWP is cheaper, but then again it is up in Utica, by the Erie Canal. Their students may also have the advantage of being larger frogs in a smaller pond, for a while. And it may not have as many temptations as the greater NY area, which could make a big difference for those who who really need to concentrate to make it through the first year.

Haven’t visited yet.

so i really am unsure about my chances in getting accepted RISD so if you guys can just check out my work tell me if its up to par with what talent the schools looking for
