I just got a Wilder Trustee Scholarship! I'm so excited!

My friend who talked to one of the helpers at the admissions office told me that they send decisions according to how early you sent your application

admanrich-- where in CT are you? we got some letters down here in New Haven County

i'm in lower fairfield county.. I sent my application in pretty late so if it's going by that logic I probably won't know until April 1.

Chocolateisgood: I was told that the decisions were sent out in random order...ugh...conflicting information...but, I think (or would like to think) that your friend got correct information. Rochester got all my application stuff December 1st, but they didn't get my midyear report until the middle of February, so maybe that's what's taking so long, although it's still early yet.

i don't think the date you send your app explains everything cause i sent my app only a couple of minutes before deadline, paid the app fee a few days after the deadline, and sent my mid-year report in mid-late feb. however, i still got my admissions decision. so, its prbly random.

Our mail just came and still nothing. My son is really nervous now. He is decided that he will be going to the local community college. this is with a 2210 sat 101 average rank4/435 school scholar athelete and NMF. I'm not comparing but what more are they looking for?

Mochasmom tell your son to CALM DOWN. Just because he hasn't gotten anything doesn't mean he's not accepted. It's done randomly--not by GPA/SAT/etc.

I'm sure your son will get into plenty of great schools with those stats. I would be SHOCKED if he didn't receive an acceptance letter in April.

The batches are only mailed once a week, and it seems like no one got in this week so maybe they didn't send one this week. Just watch the mail on Thursdays through Saturdays of each week and he will know by April.

PS- I haven't received anything either and I was given money before I even applied so you can tell they're not doing the acceptances in any particular order.

I'm in! (excited)

Did you find out today?

i found out march 7th

still nothing for me. hmmm.

Nothing for me, either.

Nothing here in NYC!

Nothing in CT :(

Don't worry guys. It's still early yet...that doesn't make it any less frustrating, though!

Nothing in Oregon...accepted into UW though today :)

I'm not even excited for my daughter to get a letter from U of R judging from the other thread, about financial aid. It seems to be really bad this year, even for kids with super high stats. So an acceptance by itself doesn't mean much until the financial aid shakes out.

WHY WON'T IT COME?!?!

i'm impatient.

(btw, that translates to: NUTHIN' in MA)

Does anyone notice that the days are starting to get really, really long? I thought I'd remain calm during March, but I now find the waiting process a bit unbearable.
