<p>Hey everybody,</p>

<p>I got accepted to Purdue today. Today is the early action notification date. Will the deadline for accepting the offer remain the same as that of the regular action applicants i.e. May 1st?</p>

<p>Go to the Purdue Admissions website > UG > Applying > Deadlines & Important Dates</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure all colleges agree that the notification date is May 1st (except for ED, which requires the applicant to attend except in extremely rare circumstances). Otherwise, it wouldn’t be fair to students who applied EA and were still waiting for RD results, if the date was really early.</p>

<p>Ahmed, you ought to be thanking entomom for her insight–namely, that the way to get a dependable answer to a question about deadlines at a particular university is to consult that university’s published information, and not to ask a bunch of strangers on the Internet, whose only real “qualification” is that they have broadband.</p>

<p>Apologies, entomom. Its just that the collegeconfidential app on my android phone decides not to display certain posts according to its will. That explains why I got so confused after reading T26E4’s post… lol.
I visited the website you suggested and yes, as Sikorsky already pointed out, it is in fact mentioned there. Its just that I’m not from the US(Obvious? No?) so I really am quite nervous about the admissions process. </p>
