I have yet to take the real SAT (coming up in April), but I have experienced the big 'jump' in scores you guys are all talking about. I didn't do a bit of studying for the PSAT sophomore year, and I got a 192. This time around I did a little work on it and brought up my composite to a 225. The counselors couldn't believe it because they seem to think that a 33 point increase is unheard of on the PSAT. Whatever. I just hope that it will translate well (if anything I am predicting it will go up because I have gotten better at math) into a 2250.

rule of thumb is you multiply your PSAT score by ten to get your projected SAT I score. in my case it was almost right on the dot.

PSAT=208
SAT=2100
