ACT & NO subject tests?

"Brown requires every applicant for admission to Brown in 2009-2010 to submit results of either the SAT Reasoning Test and any two SAT Subject Tests (except for the SAT Writing Test), or the ACT taken with the Writing Test option. "

I just wanna get this right… If we send in our ACT scores, we do NOT have to send in SAT subject test scores?!!

I was wondering that too… it’s probably highly recommend you take subject tests though.

i have a 620 (math 2) & 660 (physics) so im thinking its best if i dont send those scores in… lol.

I wouldn’t send the subject tests, unless they ask for them its not necessary… and why throw off a good ACT score with two not so great subject tests?

I only submitted my ACT and got in so you dont have to send SAT subject tests. ( I didnt even take them.)

wow what a big relief!! thanks!! :)

No problem and good luck!

wow seriously, stressed!!
is it like this for most schools or just Brown?

Every school has a different policy about subject tests: I think the UCs will take ACT instead of SAT, but requires you to take two subject tests regardless.
