leonesa, the sanity one was actually for that question.
Does anyone remember the question about oakwood trees, they ask what the paragraph is focusing about? the answer was the branches or something like that

guys, what about doing EA or ED? They SHOULD get scores on time, right?

it wasn't about the branches, i think it was about the general size of the trees or something

how about the question in the reading part about the native and writing and how he gets his writing something of that sort.. the answers were either unconsciously or about he foresees it or doesn't... i totally forgot this one...

Oh the last science was the "science debate" one. Duh.

Uh.. Slip4. I put something like she tightly gets a hold of her thoughts.

"Does anyone remember the question about oakwood trees, they ask what the paragraph is focusing about? the answer was the branches or something like that"

-The correct answer was a focuc on expressing the enormity of the tree.

kinglin: I have read that they curve and that they don't... I will have to look into it.

"Hey Douche_Nutz,
You said you didn't read any of the sections but the last science, right? What was different about the last one?"

The last science section was clearly different. The questions involved information in the paragraphs regarding both student's hypothesis. This last section was more reading/science. The other science sections had nearly all information needed to answer the questions in the charts and graphs.

Which was really irritating because by the time I GOT to the last science section, I didn't have enough time to evaluate it properly.

Thx for the reply douche... I've got another math question that I think some people mentioned earlier. It was near the end of test and had a bunch of circles with bolded curves. We were supposed to figure out the distance of all the arcs. Well, I prob got this wrong because I was hustling, but what I did was check the radius which was 12pi I think and then multiply it by every curve and there were 12 curves. That gave me 144pi. However, I think a curve should be longer than the straight radius, so the answer would need to be a little greater. The next biggest number was much too big, so I put 144pi. Did I miss something in the question????

The radious was 12 (since the circumference was given as 24pi). And juding by your own logic, that multiplied by 12 (number of arcs) gets you 144. 48pi is about 150.

Omg. Science Was Incredibly Hard. Was It Just Me Or Did You People Not Have Time To Even Finish On Science?

I had time to look over most of my answers in science...

What I don't understand is the scale people have posted. There is no way that getting one wrong in reading or science lowers yours score to 36... For two reasons. 1. The test is too hard for a person to do that well under nearly all cases. 2. Subscores.

I don't understand what you meant in your last post Douche. What do you mean lowered to 36? A 36 is a perfect, right? Can you clarify what you meant?

I understand what Douche means. -1 on science and get lowered to a 34 is completely absurd. That's insane. I don't think anyone human can get a perfect score on science under such horrible time constraints.

Oh, yup, I choose the enormity of the tree.

Reading and science scales on most ACTs show that getting one wrong drops your score below 36.

Oh, I get it now. Yeah, -1 being lowered to a 34 is ridiculous. I hate that! Will it really be like that? I sure do hope not.

We Need A Cc Chatroom! Seriously. You Guys Are Posting Like Instantenously!

That would be totally awesome!!!

I meant 34, not 36. Sorry.

There ARE functions on some forums that have an installed chatroom...

No one is even responding anymore
