ACT takers- are you guys sending SATII scores as well?

I’ve heard that even though Brown doesn’t require ACT takers to send SATII scores, it would give some advantages in admission…

I asked the admission person, and she just said “send all that you have,” which really made me even more confused…

Are you guys sending your SATII scores?

I just took my Math IC and IIC, and will take chem in Nov, although I don’t think I’ll get a good score…

Please tell me if you guys are sending SATII scores/not.

I am NOT sending them my SAT II scores; I am only sending my ACT.

If they don't need 'em, they don't need them. Three of my friends who have taken the ACT AND SAT I and II's are only sending Brown their ACTs.

So no, I'm not sending them SAT II's, my friends aren't either, and I don't think it'll negatively impact anything. Brown says they don't need the scores, which means well, that they don't need them.

i'm only sending ACT b/c i'm not even gonna take SAT IIs.

yah it is not required, so you dont have to send it.

i was considering sending in two SAT II scores in addition to the ACT.

they dont have to look at them if they don't want to, but it can't hurt (is how i figure anyways)

I'm only sending my ACT scores. I took the SAT I (wasn't pleased with my score but it's on my transcript anyways :-( ) but not the SAT IIs.

My daughter is a Brown student now. She sent in her ACT score, and not her SAT IIs (which were disappointing). If your SAT IIs are good, go ahead. If not, don't feel you need to send them.

Of course, your school may list all scores in what it sends colleges. This is something to check. Some don't put down their high school to receive the test scores so this won't happen.
