My counselor told me to list everything that I have already input in to the Common App, as well as supplemental information that doesn't fit...but I've heard that adcoms despise repetition. What should I do? My counselor wants me to include my standardized testing scores on the resume, since they're one of my strong suits, but I feel that that's completely unnecessary. And as far as extra-curriculars, should I only repeat them if they need elaboration? Let me know what Yale's stance is if you have any idea. Thanks!

i've been told to not repeat anything in the additional information section.. adcoms don't like that

why don't you do your full resume and then remove the stuff that was repeated.. that way, it's in a resume form and it's truly only additional information

sky: You are correct. You definitely do not want to duplicate in the "Additional Info" section information that appears elsewhere in your application. If you didn't have room in the Activities section of the CA, the Additional Info section is the place to elaborate (in resume form) on one or more activities/awards. Do not repeat your test scores there.
