My S received an email from admissions@nd.edu inviting him to a “special celebration of your admission”. He has not yet received anything in the mail. Has anyone else been notified this way? I ask because we want to visit the school next week and I’m afraid the letter may not be in the mail tomorrow either (we’re in SoCal). I would hate to book flights this weekend only to find out there was a mix up.
We’re also in SoCal and had the exact same thing happen. My D called admissions earlier today to ask about it and was told emails would be sent out later today. Kind of strange thinking she’s in but with no official word…
She just received the acceptance email.
I would assume your son is admitted… I was admitted REA and was invited to my city’s alumni club reception. The alumni were very in the loop as far as who was admitted. The alumni club president showed me a list of all the admitted people and what high school they went to from my area, so if you got an email then your son is definitely in.

I got the email- not so sure about the west coast, but in new york the dates seem to be around the 15th of April. Hope this helps you plan.
