Admitted Students Day

Hello all. I find myself very concerned as I no longer will be able to attend the admit students day on April 20, the last one due to flight complications. By not attending will I not get a sufficient feel of what Fordham is really like? I know I will be missing a lot of fun, and am not sure if a summer tour will do it justice. Thoughts, opinions?

IMO, I think that you will still be able to get an idea about Fordham by visiting when you can, not just on the admitted students day. DS spent this past weekend on the campus and liked it best before the other 3,000 or so students and parents were there on Sunday for the admitted students day. He was able to get a better feel for walking around the campus, finding the cafeteria etc. without a bigger crowd. So I think that you will still be ok, whenever, you can tour. Good luck.

True. Not everyone who was accepted can make it. There is another opportunity in the summer to come to campus, meet people and find places. Even still, a large number show up on move in day and are completely new to Fordham. Its all going to work out.

Sorry you will miss the events. Its fun and informative. But you can and will survive. If you want to come on your own another time before school lets out/graduation, that can be arranged with tours as well. Just call admissions and res/life and they will help you. If not, its okay.

Fordham is a great school and lots of fun. Good students and good professors.

My dd fell in love with the place when she was there on an offiicial visit to another school but has not attended the admitted students event. Too far to go. She will see it in August :-)
